Launch Event

The official launch of Ashoka Public Policy Society took place on April 11, 2023 at the Admin Block MPH. The primary objective of the event was twofold. Firstly, it aimed to formally introduce the student body to the society and its various components. Following this introduction, we initiated the induction process. Secondly, we provided students with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the field of public policy. To facilitate networking and the exchange of information between professors and students, we invited professors from various departments such as Economics, International Relations and Political Science. Our aim is to have an interdisciplinary approach towards policy. This informal interaction outside the confines of the classroom was a rare occurrence, which contributed to the overwhelming turnout of students at the launch event. We even arranged samosas and chai as refreshments for everyone.
